Monica Peterson. . . has a fine European and American background of music, theatre, television and film. She was trained at the prestigious "Neighborhood" Playhouse" Drama Academy in New York, the London School of Music and Dance in Covent Gardens, London, England, and 20th Century Fox Studios in Los Angeles, California. Monica received a contract with 20th Century Fox Studios as a starlet by way of a diversified screen test. Along with Tom Selleck, Raquel Welch and others. She received the ABC "Star of Tomorrow" Award, 2000 Women of Achievement Award", Women in Film Award, and Poetry Award. She is listed in "Who's Who" in Entertainment and "Who's Who" of American Women. She has credits in film, television, radio, commercials, infomercials and as a singer. She is member of SAG, AFTRA, and Equity Unions. |

Musical Career
Musically, Monica is a singer of jazz, popular, standards and languages. She is an internationally known singing star and actress. As a singer, she has performed concerts in the famous Olympia Concert Hall in Milan, Italy as well as other cabaret and concert venues in Italy, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark and the U.S.A.

A recent "star studded" concert was performed at the famous legendary "Cinegrill" Cabaret in Hollywood, California, receiving bravos and a standing ovation, which was a tribute to the late great "Duke Ellington. She has just returned from a successful three week tour on the East Coast performing her one woman show (a tribute to the late great Duke Ellington, Billy Holiday and others.
Monica is an American who also claims Europe as a home. Originally from the East Coast, her career has taken her all over the world. She recorded her first album in Milan, Italy for Phillips and Columbia Records. Ms. Peterson sings in ten languages.

International Chanteuse
She has just released her first American Debut Album CD, "International Chanteuse," which is a mixture of Jazz, standards and songs in international languages, including a lovely Japanese ballad.

More recently, her second American Album CD, "Singing and Dancing for The Duke, " was released in 2004, and produced by her own company, Monique Productions.
